The doctors have been pleased with my results and the numbers that are being generated in the labs. I am suffering from fatigue, lack of appetite and currently am loosing weight again. I am working on more exercise and watching my eating closer the past few weeks. The transplant team at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is deciding how they want to treat the problem in the bone marrow. Currently we do not have a clear picture of a schedule for January and February. We have been traveling the snowy roads between Seattle and Wenatchee the past month. Today we are getting a heavy dump of snow in Wenatchee. I have three medical appointments in a few days. So far our car has handled the winter roads fine.
I have skipped the temptation of setting New Year’s Resolutions or goals. I typically set monthly and weekly goals during the year for work and at home. I have set this aside for a bit until I get a little better. I do have a wish list that will likely be driven by my health. Here it is.
1. Get to Maui before the end of year.
2. Spend more time with grand kids and their families.
3. Start walking along the Columbia River with Rose again.
4. Continue getting stronger physically.

We are not looking at 2010 with apprehensions or fear. While the up coming treatments may be hard, we are positive about the outcome. Happy New Year.
I hate resolutions myself. I always just set reasonable goals. And your goals sound GREAT! Keep eating, man. Stuff those Snickers down!! :)
