On your Mark, get set, Wait!

While at the UW Hospital, I was put through numerous tests to clear the way for heart transplant. I thought I have been looked at in every way possible. Now the bone marrow transplant doctors want to put me through a series of procedures to look at my stomach and lungs. Also, there seems to be a problem with my medications as we are seeing bad interactions between certain drugs. So as of January 21, I have not started the bone marrow transplant. We are eager to start because then we will be earlier to end. We have received some notes of encouragement as most of my friends believe we are now in the middle of the transplant. By reading this blog, you would naturally think so. Thanks to everyone who follows this and have been thinking of us this week. But we have not started yet. I would be surprised if we got going before February.
