Today, Friday, I have been transplanted for four days. My blood counts should reach the bottom in the next few day. New cells are showing up which means the transplant was successfully and the cells have set up shop in my destroyed marrow. All per desired plan.
This has been one wild and terrible ride. Under the full dose of the chemo, I am experiencing a lot of nausea,to the point I just stay in bed and try to rest. Rick
I thought I would add a few words. Rick has been such a trooper. He can't eat or hardly drink. Most of the time he can hardly talk without it hurting. He is living on Morphine and Iv nutrition. He has been up for a few walks. He did perk up for his visit from the Seahawks and Sea Gals!!!! (-: We just know this transplant will work! Please keep praying for him!!!!! Thank you dear family and friends, Rose

ReplyDeleteDay by day guy...that's the plan. You are making good progress. Keep hitting that button and stay comfortable. Can't wait to visit when you are out of the bubble.
